iicecube Posted July 4, 2011 Share Posted July 4, 2011 (edited) Hi I really need someone helping to see what going wrong with the mods i have used as i tested clean vanilla without CTD but with mods i getting random CTD. To be honest mods are really messing the game but without some mods it will be less fun. Anyway this is my load order lists as below. I mean i already reduce down some mods which i feel that those are not that important compare to game-play. All auto save is enable and i feel one or more of the mods is causing the CTD. adman85 Posted July 4, 2011 Share Posted July 4, 2011 (edited) "Less fun" is a bit of an understatement :P I can't live if living is without the nexus mods. Is the crash always in the same places? Or is it random? Because fallout is a memory leak danger zone. http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36805 This mod helps with crashes after long periods of playing. If its a recurring crash in a particular location (s) we'll need details of the crashes. Also what is WMVM? If its a weapon mods mod, u may not want to run it with WMX. Other than that I would maybe say the extra companions mod. I assume it adds a substantial load when walking around with a group bigger than intended. iicecube Posted July 4, 2011 Author Share Posted July 4, 2011 Hmm forst of all thank for the reply, the crash is random when i fast travel or reach a random location it will CTD but around 15-20 min. WMVM is the weapon mod vending machine which i can see it is good with WMX-WMVM togather. I also feel that the unlimited companion may did something wrong or overload some location but since i restarted the new game which it will CTD at the starting towner location and even at goodsring when fast travel back. But when i start new game without mods and i did 50 times fast travel or rush around the new area without giving me any problem lol. Another feelin is maybe i load order is wrongly place? It's a load order sorter; http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35999 Aside from that theres not much I can think to do aside from going through and deactivating each mod 1 by 1 to see which is causing it. Hey I tried that steam verify integrity method, (I havent done a reinstall for about 2 days though :O ) but it says always 1 file could not be validated and then it says its downloading (even if I move the steamapps folder) then the download is complete instantly and if i try again, it says and does the same thing, what do you think is causing this? 'Cos of course you know i know you know everything.. Of course.. But you already knew that..Thanks in advance. Damm took me 1 days of countless of hours keep doing the same thing with fast-travel and go in-out of cell. But still i have to goes on the game to 100% confirm I'm free of crash till the end of the game.
