No Houses In Sanctuary (BUGFREE?)

I know there are some mods which remove the Houses in Sanctuary

Problem is the graphic starts to bug when you walk on the places where the houses stand

and Sturges and Mama "f*#@ milk gimme jet" Murphy are still hammering

thats not really nice

is there a way to make a mod which prevents the graphic bugs and the hammering?

the graphical bug where the horizon and far away stuff vanishes?

usually that bug happens to me because I'm removing something you can't normally see past. I thought the sanctuary houses were safe in that reguard. it might be the hedges that are bothering you.

I've had various sucess dealing with that problem. mostly because I've juggled my graphics settings between ENB's and medium and low quality. it kinda seems to be a "Somtimes" problem where not all settings and not all drivers will do it...

did you have to do the compass fix?

I have the same issue when I remove a house in Sanctuary. It doesn't matter if I do it with disable, markfordelete, a mod... when I'm looking through where something used to be, the distant stuff, and sometimes the ground, glitches. I move past, to where it thinks I should be able to see, and everything is fine. It's only when it thinks something should have been there that it glitches.

It will do this even if I build something else on that spot. I removed a house and built a powered armor storage area. When I walked in, as soon as I reached a certain point, even the walls around me glitched out and vanished in spots. Get beyond that spot, no glitching.

I figured it was some part that was being left behind that was causing the problem. For instance, the hammering happens at little nodes, so what the OP was talking about was removing the house and having the nodes remain behind. I wonder if something else is also being left behind that is causing the issues.

are you using a compass fix? because twice is a coincidence, 3x is fact. the average Joes are not having the problem. so it has to be something else that we are doing different. right now the compass fix is a common factor. not "Somthing left behind" it would mess with everyone that disabled the houses if your point was the case.

your problem might be different, but it's looking and sounding exactly like a duck.

and if it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it's probably a duck.

(I'm really cranky right now. forgive me. it's not you, it's me)

so why don't you read next time. and get a feel for what's already being talked about, before you drop a suggestion that's been mostly ruled out. USE YOUR BRAIN SON.

So... Compass fix. YES or NO?
