Using the Console?

Hello

 

I wish to use the console to change a couple of simple things.

 

Every time I have played the game seriously (not a character to simply use the Hilarity mod or such) I have used Prior Maborals Paint Horse, and so I have grown attached to it enough to keep it throughout the game, despite it being the worst horse available. I wanted to change its name to Soot (or any other good suggestion) so how could this be achieved?

 

I also wanted to change it so that all of the Legion Soldiers in Cyrodiil wore full ebony with a cool looking ebony-style Samurai helmet I got in a mod. How could I do this (and, of course, how could I give them other clothes if I decide to give them another new look)?

If you want to change the name of a person or horse do the following:

 

1.Open console

2.click on person or horse

3.type: setactorfullname "what you want to name it"

I had tried opening the console, clicking on my horse and typing in a name but I wasnt sure what I was suppose to type before the name.
