Nadimos Posted July 4, 2011 Share Posted July 4, 2011 (edited) Update Well i restarted my computer and now i can load the goodsprings exterior cell just fine inside the geck with no mods installed,as if by magic it suddenly works again, but when i go ingame with mods/or no mods it still crashes. The exact area is located somewhere around the prospecter saloon in goodsprings. For example i can exit the schoolhouse building, but when i walk towards the propsector saloon and am about to pass by the first house on the way, it crashes my game or when i exit doc mitchels house. For example i go into the goodpsrings general store and then try to exit the door (to the wilderness cell) and it crashes. It does not even say why or is there somewhere an error log? Help! If you want to load the exterior around goodsprings just load the exterior GScemetary in the exteriors list (theres a drop down menu). EDIT; In game now you say? That can't be good. With no mods on at all I really don't know what could be causing it. Do you mean you have no mods installed at all in your data or mods directory? Or are they just inactive? I wish i could change the thread title. @adman85 I still don't get what you mean by exiting a door in the GECK. I went into the GECK and could not do it myself. You need to be able see the yellow door markers (hit m in the render window) and then doubleclick that. This is one way of how you can exit a door in the geck or another way is to doubleclick the door itself and just view the teleporter reference. adman85 Posted July 5, 2011 Share Posted July 5, 2011 I don't know if this is the problem but I was getting strange crashes with Nevada Skies in goodsprings schoolhouse and saloon. I had to change the differences between the vanilla and nevada skies for those interiors back to their vanilla values. But as I say that was only for interiors. Other crashes i've found are usually related to bad usage of FNVEdit (i've messed up plenty of mods in there, usually by adding masters to mods) and there may be a problem with textures or something (some mods might overwrite each other).
