ZippyDSMlee
I dunno if the wind is hot air or poo gas.... LOLStill have no knack to simplify and get to the point. =><=----------The way I have set up my fictional world one of the main events of my main character is joining and leaving the immortal army of light. Once he finished basic training(which is the first book I am working on) in mostly saving the world he was sent to save he’s picked up half dead by Light Force and taken to the home world clusters. He gets use to the new setting and duties even with broken memories. But he comes into conflict with the rules and the duties they entail and slowly over centuries of education and training pushes himself to leave. Still fleshing out the reasons how/why he finally leaves but it involves exclusion and arrogant mentalities that almost hate him simply because he dose fit in. Going permanently AWOL is not a simple matter since everything is clean, everything is watched, everything is reported. Though he has support of Dol , a high ranking member of Light Force, who during one of his missions sent the kid as a chosen warrior of creation for testing of abilities and capability, Dol also was the ship that picked him up to bring him to the home worlds . He was incredibly bored by all the monotony he needed something to toy with and brought the kid under his wings. Dol enjoys humor and silliness but mostly acts like a perverted old man. Is always smoking or drinking much to the dismay of his assistants, he finds the light stifling but the dark well he says it’s not that bad but the party ends way to soon and he does not care for stopping. For the act of leaving I’m going with “Build a spaceship from scraps collected no matter how long it takes.” Probably will wind up using plot armor of some sort to use a disguise/mimic system if things are where they should be then no one will notice them. In getting away he manages to make it to a discarded/unused/junk solar system and gets attacked by a random Dark Force scout ship, crash lands on a half broken desert world that’s being held together by a very large ship embedded in the lower half. The planet is a ship grave yard of various times and universes perhaps it got cut off from a Light Force prune that and drifted along existence. It takes a very long time to gather parts but he finds various maintenance drones and is able to clobber enough tech together to build a robot. It’s pretty borked since all the software is as clobbered together. He the builds a mental interface so he can sort out the programing in his head and run it all the time till something works rather than work on it a few days at a time. The first night of mentally programing it goes well the 2nd night it blows and fries his mind, tho after a few hours taking in the ambient energy he fully recovers. As he wakes a sarcastic female voice comes out of the robot. It seems his personality was cloned as a basis for the AI but was improved upon when the self-repair systems finally had enough to fix it but had enough quirks and errors to become fully sentient. With her help he gets a small half destroyed battle cruiser(1/4th size of Star Wars destroyer) up and running all the while she plans out an android body and name. While it might be junk on this end of creation in most places it’s enough to control galaxies even if it’s at a relative snail’s pace. So they hit up a few abandoned junk zones then target a small Light Force maintenance outpost , and older Destroyer class vessel is being used as a transport ship but is empty of both cargo and personal, perfect for the taking, they manage to get away and spend time rebuilding the ship to taste and Sandy the AI becomes a 6 foot tall blonde android, who unlike the more brooding and annoying main character is more fun, self-respecting and highly skilled and perfect in nearly everything. The main character says to the whole thing “Great now I have a perfect sibling.. Dol will piss himself laughing…. mmm I wonder if he can maintain his humanoid form. It might be worthwhile to see that…. damn old dragon bastard”. But Light Forces catches up with him with a job offer which takes him to another magical fantasy world that’s more advanced than the training world he was on but much less advanced than the Light Force core worlds. ======================Note’s and info The premise is simple enough Lightness and Darkness themselves as absolute beings cannot kill each other they are perfect equals and all fights end in a tie with existence shattered. So they allow creation to expand while darkness corrupts it and brings beings to his side. The war is endless with few small victories.------------Light Force, army of light, normalish humanoids of various types, uses high energy and max advance tech. All members of Light Forces are trained in combat and tactics as well as most jobs be it office work, maintenance, soldier, ect training takes centuries but they are all immortal so time and recruitment is not much of an issue. The army is comprised of 2 branches that can interchange members as needed for chain of command or combat. The branches are Admin and military. Admin deals with everything related to data and information as well as maintenance and total management of the home world clusters. The military branch handles everything related to combat, pruning and expanding creation and warring with the forces of darkness. Once you ascend to being part of Light Forces you maintain your individualism and personality it’s just adapted a bit to handle comprehension of time and space better. Ninety percent adapt well to the new setting and endless duty those that do not are a bit broken most of the time a place is found for them even if they have to be returned to a mortal system with a memory wipe. Not everything pruned is destroyed, most of what’s pruned is healthy it’s just too easy a target for Dark Forces and thus they will gain more ground if it’s not destroyed or heavily protected.-----------Dark Force, army of darkness, mainly biotech using creatures and humanoids sharing a hive empathy and information that interconnects them the closer they are to each other, they live in the void outside of creation the domain of Light Forces but still within the scope of existence. They are nihilists with duty and focus, darkness wants everything to return to a state of before creation and the light broke free of himself.-------- Existence: Includes all of creation and the void. Things beyond existence are rare as it’s the domain of Lightness and Darkness themselves and their endless chess like games that mirror reality.-------Creation: Domain of Light Force and where life is crated and flourishes this includes, time, space and parallel dimensions. (you are here, lulz)---------------Void: Domain of Darkness, on the edges of creation the remains of matter and energy cut off from creation, its unstable and in various states of decay. The stable area’s is where most of Dark Forces thrive.
