simplyabah
Hello, and welcome to my very first thread on nexusmods modding community. I love Fallout series, especially the Fallout 4, to modders out there, I'd like to suggest you guys, whether you guys like it or not... to make a series of weaponry from WWI and WWII. To be honest, I can't mod a game because I got a toaster and RAM leaks occasionally, which makes me harder to understand and to use any modding tools on the internet. As someone who enjoy history, especially in warfare, I'd like to revive the old guns of WWI and WWII that you guys might find on the pawn shop or military surplus depots around your city. I'd like to see you guys perfectly compiled the model and I think using the vanilla ammo type would be nice for me. (If the 7.62mm still exist and used in-game). I learn history from Fallout, mainly the American architectural designs from late 1940s to early 1950s. The weapons I'd like to see are (preferably) the Bolt-action (with scope, non-scope also fine), Sub-Machineguns, and Machine Guns. I don't really like the semi-auto rifles, but if I can't find bolt-action, the semi-auto will do just fine. Recently, when I browse the "Weapons" and "Weapons and Armor" section, I found myself seeing any kinds of modern war gears and weapons. Such as HK series, SCAR series, and commonly the M82A1 Barrett (why? I've seen it on FONV and FO3 Nexus site, and it came from different authors). I've been playing FO series for now (tbh, only FONV and FO3) and I like the Hunting Rifle. Why I chose that? As I see it, it's dependable, lotsa ammo stock, and commonly found when looting some higher level enemies, mainly the Raiders. It's a shame that I can't mod the game, I'd really like to do it myself. But, limited amount of PC components and expensive electric bill, I simply can't do it. Anyway, if you guys can, I'd love to see it and can't wait to try it myself. Cheers. If you're looking for some guns with that WW2 era, well here's a few you may want to look at: M1911A1 - Standalone Handgun by DOOM M1 Carbine - Standalone Rifle by Undyne777 The last one is the M14 which, I know wasn't introduced until the Korean War but, as I recall, the M14 was an extension of the M1. Basically the US government wanted an automatic rifle and so just used the M1 as the basis to make one. Of course, the problem with M14 is that in full auto the first shot will hit where you aim, second be about 6 inches higher, and by the third or forth shot you've got yourself and AA gun. Still, thought you might be interested: The M14 Standalone Rifle by FF7CloudStrife and Moniterman
