Full armour suits

I don't know about anyone else, but I strongly prefer full suits of armour rather than individual pieces that in my opinion, look really dumb compared to the former. So basically my mod request is for one of you talented modders out there to make this happen. I'm talking about Combat Armour, Armoured Vault Suits, Leather Armour etc.

seems feasible. major drawbacks would be that (I think) you'd only get 1 Pocketed/stabilized/muffled/padded mod slot and I don't know if you can multiply that 5x specifically for this armor piece. but i might be talking outta my butt here and I can't know for certain untill I look at it in CK.

 

This is the kinda mod that is borderline out of my skill. I'd attempt it come CK but no promises. PM me when the CK is out to remind me and I'll look into trying to make it.

 

you should also include a more descriptive feature list either in that PM or this thread. stuff like Should clothes be able to be worn under it? or did you want it all as one item with some kind of underclothes? does it need to be able to be modified individually or can the polymer/shadowed type modifications be applied to all of the pieces from one spot (EG no individual pieces as polymer while rest is reinforced)? did you want it to spawn in the world? or make it craft-able? because spawn lists are out of my comfort zone but I'm willing to try.

 

I'm not personally sold on the idea. I suppose it makes outfitting companions and stuff easier? It seems like a weird thing to want, but if the game works how I think it does, I should be able to knock this one out in an afternoon.

Okay, well here's how I'd personally want it to work:

 

Since the outfits/armours would be full suits there wouldn't be the basic, sturdy and heavy variations to worry about. The example I'll use here is combat armour. In Fallout 3 and New Vegas there were various combat armours with different skins and stats. So the Standard, Reinforced, Shadowed, Fiberglass, Polymer and Brotherhood of Steel modifications could just be the same full suit of combat armour with different skins and stats. As for the Pocketed, Stabilized, Muffled and Padded modifications, could that not just be included in the Effects of the outfit itself?

 

In the first two games, armours were found in specific places or available to buy from a vendor, but not cheaply. It shouldn't be too easy to acquire them, which I think would work well here. Essentially what I'm looking for is Fallout 4 versions of outfits from the previous games. Here's a good example: https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/130/images/35411-2-1289997951.jpg

Armoured Vault Suit (20 Damage Resistance)

Leather Jacket (25 Damage Resistance)

Combat Leather Jacket (35 Damage Resistance)

Leather Armour (30 Damage Resistance)

Leather Armour Mk. II (35 Damage Resistance)

Metal Armour + workbench modifcations (40 base Damage Resistance, + 2 with each material modification)

Metal Armour Mk. II + workbench modifications (50 base Damage Resistance, + 2 with each material modification)

Tesla Armour (55 Damage Resistance, causes tesla damage to nearby enemies)

Combat Armour + helmet and workbench modifications (45 base Damage Resistance for the suit, an additional 5 for the helmet, + 2 with each material modification)

Combat Armour Mk. II + helmet and workbench modifications (50 base Damage Resistance for the suit, an additional 10 for the helmet, + 2 with each material modification)

Brotherhood Combat Armour + helmet and workbench modifications (55 base Damage Resistance, an additional 5 for the helmet, + 2 with each material modification)
