Guy97 Posted April 21, 2016 Share Posted April 21, 2016 (edited) A couple weeks ago I reinstalled Skyrim, and I haven't added any extra mods since my fresh install. So in the beginning the game ran pretty smooth. I had an occasional CTD but it was rare enough not to bug me. Slowly though, it got more and more frequent and frustrating. It got to the point where it was around every 5-15 minutes mostly in the outdoors, however; cities and some interiors were still CTDIng often. Around the same time I encountered another problem which was that Breezehome just started giving me a never ending loading screen and activating the selling/buying menu seems to give me a fairly reliable CTD. Also, quicksaving began to take a fairly long time. Skyrim seems to freeze up for a decent amount of time whenever I quicksave. Around 10-15 minutes ago, my game got super wack. It seemed like that graphics just turned to the lowest setting and the ENB just stopped working in game, so I exited the game and went to start it back up and now I am getting a CTD on startup everytime. It gets to around the start menu and then it crashes. It has got to be a mod, because I deactivated everything and it loaded it up fine.
