nkdv
I was browsing around sourceforge.net when I came across this : - http://sourceforge.net/projects/morrowindonline/ And I was really skeptical because I read the forum's thread and people's views on starting an online version of Morrowind. Agreed that its virtually impossible unless you modify the source code, which is again illegal. Is anybody in the forums willing to give this a go and confirm its validity/invalidity? I'd personally be happy to do so but I've just installed a lot of overhauls and I don't want to tamper with my installation until I'm through with it. Moderators, anyone, please confirm. Thanks! werewolfperson
I wont check back, so dont bother to reply, and yes it is impossible but there was an online oblivion (aparently) though it wasnt very good X3 but even if it is impossible, there is always the future and it wont hurt to hope ^^ dont reply, this is just a post to say that we dont need to get worked up over it ;) lets just forget about it for the time being and hope that mabye bethesda will make something online :
Yshi
Okay two quick thoughts on that. One: why don't you just copy/run in a windows vm(preferably so you don't have to worry about ruining anything) to test it? Two: IMHO multiplayer would ruin the game experience. The mechanics and feel of the game would be completely different. You would just be grinding to get the best stuff and the highest level and faster than others instead of enjoying the world and lore.
