OmenUK
Last night (Wednesday) I was playing Fallout 4 with mods installed and had no problems, logged out to go to bed and came on earlier today and the game would not load any mods. Saw the problem was caused by the latest update and read the instructions to fix the problem (adding a asterisk * before the name of each of the mods in the plugins.txt file) and it worked fine. Only thing I had to do was unprotect the file to allow me to save it. I logged out for a while, just came back online and installed another mod which allows me to scrap stuff and means I won't need the two mods I am using (scrap everything and spring clean. Followed the same process, deactivated the two mods, activated the new mod and started the game but when i click to load my game the game crashes to my desktop. Figuring it was the mod I deactivated it and tried to load the game again and once again it crashed as I tried to load. Just wondered what people think is it the mods, the plugins.txt file or the game save as have a nasty suspicion I have once again lost game progress (or more importantly time spent building) due to an update either stopping mods from working or corrupting my safe. Build after disabling everying and enabling one at a time.
