blackhand8657
got a couple regarding modding/replacing sounds and music files: 1: Music: I would like to replace some of the Diamond City radio songs with my own. I have the MultiXWM program already and looks like I'd just have to convert my mp3 to xwm. Is there anything else I need to do with the mp3/xwm, I remember I had issues with FNV with replacing songs, they would play, get to the end of the song, then start playing the same song again but at a different segment of the song. The problem was fixed with a program, (dont remember what, might've come with a custom radio mod), it changed the bit rate or something, dont remember exactly. Am I gonna need to do something similar with FO4 or does the XWM format make it more stable? 2: Sounds: I would like to replace some of the gun sounds. The automatics; do I have to use the loop, 'LPM' or can they be replaced with regular non-looping sounds? I appreciate any feedback

If you're simply replacing the existing music tracks, just make sure they're in the xwm format and have the same name as the original. Then copy them in with the same file structure. Alternatively take a look at PipPOD for a standalone option.
