soot00
Well I have to admit, after a few hours of playing at least, stability and performance are smooth for a new character in Goodsprings, not a single crash yet :) Let's see what happens when NVSE is back up and I play with my 80+ mods, lol

kevkiev
*snip* not sure it updated automatically this time after all. Maybe the "don't update" option worked. Edited July 7, 2011 by kevkiev
tactcom
If your game crash when loading a savegame, and you have iHUD, try to turn it off.
cavveman
Havent updated for me. I think I will wait with the update until the dlc is getting released.
kevkiev
Actually, I think the "no update" steam setting worked, but I went for it anyway. (Thanks, Sunnie, for the quick NVSE and GECK updates!) I crashed a few times after maybe 15 mins or so, but then I noticed that the patch had put the Fallout NV.esm at last place in the esm load order. Put the esm back in its proper place and things seem to be going better, tho I haven't played long enough to really see if it's resulted in better stability. drakeelvin
Well, for all of you readers out there who would miss the sound of Cass's voice (I know I'm not the only one) here is the fix. Cass Barks Thanks to Kevkiev for starting the thread, I was able to capture the original scripts for Cass prior to the update and after getting the new Geck up I reverse engineered the change. My Mojave will not be without her constant chatter!
