newt2010
Hi guys, i have done all like it is in the documentation written and tried to search here in the forums. I never had Fallout 3 and downloaded the FULL Texturepack and the bumpmaps.I extracted the bumpmaps in the downloaded texturefolder, fixed the path for the installerscript and run it . It copied all files and the new texturefolder in my New Vegas folder is as big as the downloaded texture folder with the bumpmaps. In my opinion this sounds good. After that i tried to fix the Falloutprefs.ini but the bInvalidateOlderFiles is already set to 1. I run New Vegas with Steam and my sys specs are: Intel Q6600 (overclocked to 3.0 ghz) 4 GB DDR 800 Mhz Ram, Geforce GTX570 (newest drivers installed), 1680x1050, (max Details and Antialiasing settings ingame) When i start the game the textures look like the vanilla textures of New Vegas Can anyone help me? Here is one pic: PicThis is not HD Texture isn't it? Edited July 6, 2011 by newt2010
newt2010
No need for this Thread. I managed to fix it on my own =) For others with the same problems: Use the 3rd method for Archive Invalidation. Install the Fallout New Vegas ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated mod which you can find in the documentation thread under other .bsa method. (This method was suggested by Proscriptor:) Now the game looks amazing =)
