I thought I did have auto update turned off. I guess I was wrong. Oh well, this gives me an excuse to install Oblivion and start playing that for the first time. I picked it up in the Steam sale a few days ago and I'm looking forward to giving it a go.

Do you have mods that require NVSE and don't work with the latest version? From my reading of the docs I thought NVSE was always backwards compatible so the latest version ought to work with any mod that used an older version.

EDIT: I've only done one NVSE mod ever but I just tested it and it loaded up fine and works with the new NVSE, no update required.

Daaaaaamn. I am such a dumba$$!! I recently reinstalled my OS and I forgot to deactivate the Steam-Autoupdate. Now my HUD Mods don't work (AHud; IHud; UHud etc.)

I was impressed by the quick reaction of the NVSE-Team but now I probably will have to wait a few weeks for the updates of my Script Extender based mods anyway.

I'm so ... *sigh*

If you have updated NVSE and the game keep crashing on any save load: try to turn off iHUD in Mod Manager, solved my problem.

Yeah, I have been messing around with single components of Gopher's mods and - voila - as you say: it is the IHud, and just that one. Thanks & Kudos for answering and confirming.

EDIT: With NVSE Version 2b7 everything works as before, those guys are really fast, great job!
