Someone help, PLEASE !!!

Hello, i need to figure out what to do, i've been dowloading everything there is but it's a no go.

 

I have FO3, FOMM, BOSS, AII, FOSE, a lot of mods (related below), but every time i enter a generic space (like Grayditch abandoned homes and the old lady's house in Megaton), the game freezes about 10 seconds later, the same with some objects (selling lives iguanas - MMM, using portable worbench, etc.).

 

I don't know code and command lines, consider me as a dumb newbie (accurate enough), and be patient.

too much for me to absorb there way too much, but you do like the game, that's a given, give my mod a shot and see what happens, the kink is in my signature right here, choose the one for fo3, read the page and try only one at a time OK, V3 is the latest release. the original is most popular, that's the older version and is supported , all are supported. But you have well quite an assortment there. I'll let others help you with that. My mod will do the rest, though it doesn't like FOOK.

Hi and thanks.

 

I've tried your fix but no luck.

 

What i can understand, with FO3Edit, mods have overlaping values, specially in FOOK2 mod, generating errors and crashes, or the eventual freezes.

 

Maybe i can figure out the program (FO3Edit), without destroying FO3, i already have the manual. If not i can always reinstall FO3, no biggie ;)

 

I'm hoping for some magic plugin or something that stops the freezes, that's what's ruining one of my favorite games - FO1, FO2, FOtactics, FONV :)

Have you tried Fallout Stutter Remover? I found a value for iReduceLongSleep there that made my crashes go from guaranteed every 30 minutes to almost unheard of, unless something really went wrong.

 

Download FSR from the Nexus, get the WIP version, and then open it's sr_Fallout_Stutter_Remover.ini file. Set iReduceLongSleep to 5. You should notice increased speed and stability. If not you can always change the value.

You are running a very outdated version of FOOK2. My advice is to uninstall all of that and install FOOK2 1.2OB (make sure you get rid of all of those old compatibility patches) then start a new game. Barring that, your MMM/FOOK2 FOIP is for 5.x and your MMM is 6.x. There are no MMM 6.x/FOOK2 1.0 RC compatibility patches that I am aware of.

I've reinstalled everything, downloaded the latest versions of everything, used BSA unpacker and placed manually some. With BOSS and FO3edit i'll check my work's fruits.

 

When i'm done and tested a bit i'll post everything.
