A question about Operation Optimization.

This is regarding the games sound files. I have just installed a fresh installation of Oblivion and Operation Optimization. What I need to know is if Operation Optimization replaces some of the games sound files with downsampled ones. What happens is that say I'm swinging a sword and strike the wall with it some of the sounds will be nice and clear (stock Oblivion audio) and some of the are dull and low quality (the mysterious annoying sound files) I found this problem hard to put into words so I apologise if I have not been clear enough. I am looking for possible solutions if y'all could help me with that. I am using the OMOD version of Operation Optimization. I really don't want to reinstall so if there is a mod that replaces all the stock sound effects with custom ones I would rather take that over reinstalling the game. Below is more info that may help you to sort this problem out for me. Thanks in advance.

OS: Windows XP x64 Professional SP2

Sound Drivers: Realtek HiDef

Sound Output: SPDIF to external amp to speakers

GPU: Radeon HD 5450

CPU: Intel Core 2 Q6600

RAM: 4 Gig DDR2 (Don't know what speed)
