Gwyvern Posted July 7, 2011 Share Posted July 7, 2011 i seem to have run into a slight issue, i recently tried implementing the absolutely fantastic effects of EVE into one of my personal custom weapon mods, and while the visual effects worked, any sound effects or crit effects i tried to use in my mod (that seemed to work fine in the geck) would not manifest in game, i believe the issue is that my mod is not seeing EVE as a master, and as such wont access these effects, however i cannot figure out how to make it do so, simply loading them both into the geck then saving it does not seem to work. any assistance on the matter would be appreciated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Quetzlsacatanango Posted July 7, 2011 Share Posted July 7, 2011 Your mod has to be an esp, and be the active plugin. That is all it takes to make it depend on all the loaded masters. Gwyvern Posted July 7, 2011 Author Share Posted July 7, 2011 (edited) welp it seems like i screwed up, couldn't find the esm/esp toggle but i did find something that would make my mod see EVE as a master, did that, then went into the geck to set some things correctly just to find that it will no longer open either of them properly, even after undoing what i did :S edit: wont even load fallout NV correctly in the geck, i have not checked if the game actually works yet but even if it does this is a major SNAFU on my part >.> Edited July 7, 2011 by Gwyvern Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Gwyvern Posted July 7, 2011 Author Share Posted July 7, 2011 I don't know how you would have damaged your FalloutNV.esm, but it's possible you need to repair your installation now. :confused: oddly enough, after having to reinstall NVSE newvegas itself works perfectly fine, all my mods still run just as they should have (minus the problem i was trying to fix before this happened) but the GECK cant seem to load ANYTHING properly, it says it loads it, but the loading process takes only 2 seconds and nothing actually gets loaded, not even any of my mods i didn't touch will load in the GECK, and i already reinstalled the GECK and v1.5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
