Smashy
If it werent for the cheesy vegitation (besides the emporer parasols, sp?), the ever-attached under garments, repeteative diolog, and creepy citizens, id enjoy the mid evil esque life of morrowind, personaly i wouldnt live in Vvardenfell, or on morrowind for that matter, maby Ciridill(sp?) city, Skrym, or Vallenwood...if it werent for all the lil fargoths running around, i just dont think life in in a blighted, unfreindly, and in a land that is primarily waste land, would let me ever have a moments peace...and not to mention because of that dunmer temple, and tribunal "gods " id probably be hunted down and killed for my favor of necromancy and other "forbiden" beleifs. Malchik
I seem to recall a film - Westworld? - where people created 'unreal' environments just so that modern man could experience them. In the film they were historical but the principle is the same. I don't think I would want to live in Morrowind as it is portrayed. Firstly, I have found no real evidence of sanitation suggesting disease would be rife. Also it seems to be very easy to be attacked by everything under the sun, except perhaps the plants. If these could be addressed a vacation down by the lakeside near Pelagiad might be relaxing. There are no worrisome or distracting nuisances like computers or films of LOTR to interrupt the chill-out factor. And no annoying teenagers. That is a plus point! Hmm. Perhaps I could be convinced. KublaKarma
Seriously, I would be a smith... working on things, stones and steel for all day!!
Limorkil
On the whole, Vardenfell would be a decent place to live as long as: 1. You can reload when you get killed 2. You do not actually have to physically experience an ash storm 3. You are not required to carry an axe, 3 swords, 2 cuirasses, 3 sets of pauldrons, 30 different ingrediants, 20 different potions, a dozen sould gems, 10 books, 5 gold rings, 4 calling birds etc. 4. Running around in heavy armor being chased by a dozen cliff racers is strictly optional. If I really had ended up on a prison ship docked at Seyda Neen then I would have been killed by the second bandit in the smuggler's cave and that would have been the end of my story. Curt Sibling
If Morrowind had real life dynamics? Well, damn! It would be a life as a dashing warrior/bard/ladies-clothes-shop-owner in Balmora! I would impress people at the taverns with my tales of dubious courage, and sing sonnets to chicks with creepy glowing eyes! I would try ash yams, just to see if they taste as disgusting as they look!
ohGr
hopefully you people are fully aware of the rule "do not be a vigilante" hmm, life in morrowind.....hmm....umm....well...i would...but if i saw a ciggarete i wouldnt be able to cope easily...im traumatised by a few things with them (in one of the off-topic threads)...bah, i would...so i could really talk to gaenor and ask him "why are you here"...then he whips out a 50ft long grim and frostbitten battleaxe of the northern necrowizards, then i whip out a 1ft long grim and frostbitten sword of the necroyeti *looks around...* GRIM AND FROSTBITTEN :bleh:
