Hand To Hand Weapons

I am a Hand To Hand Expert, but I hate the fact that I can't apply poison or use any enchantments. Why can't the Gauntlets ingame be made fighting weapons? Leather gauntlets for example already have claws, why can't I enchant those or poison them?

Well, that's what I'm requesting, gauntlets as normal weapons(They don't even have to add additional damage, I just want to add poison/enchantments)

Many thanks for anyone who will attempt to create this :)

(PS, I searched and the closest thing was the "Claws and Monk Gear" mod." made in 2006...)

EDIT: The Claws & MG mod is pretty good, but it only adds pre-determined enchatments and no ability to add poison.)

Complain to Bethsoft. Please, be insistant about it and get as many interested players behind you. You can't enchant gauntlets with attack stuff because they don't count as weapons. Trying to make a fist weapon into game ends up looking rather stupid since the animations are still for the normal attacks. Realistically, they could have done it just by making a weapon count as the fist class (there's already skills, and animations). But, they didn't, since they are done with Oblivion they won't. Since modders cant change any of this hard coded stuff, we can't fix Bethsoft's oversight. Really, the only way to get fist weapons would be to annoy the hell out of Bethsoft to the point where they put it in the next TES game just to keep you quiet. While you're at it, feel free to mention other minor things like fighting stavess, spears, and thrusting weapons which are totally missing from Oblivion.

There's kind of a spear in Shivering Isles...

Possible Spoilers(?)

When you have to start up the dungeon again some of the monsters are weilding staffs that look suspiciously like spears.
