Glowing Purple Textures

I have recently got back into the fallout 4 modding scene and started downloading some of the more popular mods (Nuka Gear, More Firearms) {see pictures attached} and for some reason the textures for these mods are all bright purple. I have all the expansions for fallout and the only thing that raises suspicion is whenever i start nexus mod manager it tells me "The old fallout 4 ini edits are deprecated (the long string in the fallout4.ini caused long loading times). please remove the old edits and follow this updated guide: http://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Fallout_4_Mod_Installation"

 

it then tells me to add these to the ini files which i have already done

 

[Archive]

bInvalidateOlderFiles=1

sResourceDataDirsFinal=

 

but the message still does not go away.
