Populating the world?

I am just reinstalling New Vegas. Have around 20 mods in total, my overhaul is Project Nevada.

What I am looking for is some mods that populate the world, without unbalancing my game or making it crash-prone. More enemies, bigger spawns, more NPC's in towns etc.

- I have heard IWS is pretty old and can be rather unstable. RePopulated Wasteland I have heard similar things about, but don't know if true or not. Is VVV good for my needs? Or is MonsterMod good? Come with your input.

t would also be good to get some mods that add new places/quests, keeping it rather balanced.

- I have played a little with AWOP, but I found it to be too big for its own good (not much fun in finding new locations every 30 seconds). Any mods you can recommand for my needs there also?

I find IWS the most stable of the increased spawn mods (awop is more a dungeon challenge mod), there is also Monster mod which adds new creatures. RePopulated Wasteland is a mixed bag, while it does add more people in game it also edits and adds more then just that. There are tons of new items added to areas and even a new "town" on top of the high way near Vegas. I found it to dirty and resource hoging that I had to clean the mod myself and remove a lot of things from it.

 

There are a few mods by bnxus that add more people in game and is less troubleing then RePopulated Wasteland.

IWS has been the one that impressed me the most. YMMV with MoMod. I liked it because it had resources I could use to customize my game... in its default state it feels a bit goofy to me, I guess, even though it's an excellent mod. That NPC project is pretty good, though.

 

I guess my opinion is the same as Nivea's. Who seems to post good mods all the time. Yaaay.
