Extreme choppiness when exiting any journal tab.

Hello and thank you in advance for trying to help me :turned: My problem's like this :

 

Whenever I'm simply strolling around without entering the journal I'm fine , decent fps (around 50) with settings around high and some graphic enhancing mods. But as soon as I go into inventory or go look at my map for a location my game starts stuttering. I have this problem on every character , even newly created ones.I am able to open and close the character tab , as long as I don't take too long. Same with inventory, but opening the map tab gives me immediate stuttering.

 

I use Oblivion Mod Manager and BOSS , don't use Wyre Bash simply because I can't get it to work. Keeps giving me IndexError: tuple index out of range. If anybody could help I would greatly appreciate it, the game is playable but it's annoying having to reboot the game every single time after I closed my journal. (closing fixes the stuttering completly, I have even tried playing for an hour without using journal and there was no stutter at all ).

I know the g-card isn't that good , but I've improved it a bit by using the omega driver. Doubt my problem is related to my specs , must be some mod thats causing this so I'l include a list of that also :

Install the Unofficial Oblivion Patch and Supplementals and get rid of the race fix.

 

Remove Natural Weather (which I think is the source of your problem) and either install the fixed version or switch to a different weather mod.

 

Also, get rid of Darker Nights and install Let there Be Darkness (and Let there Be More Darkness, if you want compatibility for various mods).

 

You can't use Enhanced Water and Natural Water together. Choose one. You can't use both with Better Water either. Choose one water mod.

 

Make sure Streamline is configured properly.

 

Also, can't you use the HD version of Enhanced water or did you just opt not to turn on HDR in your video settings?

 

It looks like you haven't cleaned any of those plugins BOSS is warning about either...

Thank you for the quick response :biggrin: , I actually didn't notice I had multiple water mods running . And I never really bothered checking if any of my mods were outdated. I'm gonna do all the things you adviced and see how it goes .
