codofglory Posted April 25, 2016 Share Posted April 25, 2016 Hey All! i thought i'd make a little list of things that i thought would be great to have as weapons and as armour in Fallout 4. although there are many ways to customize stuff in FO4, there aren't really a lot of gear compared to its predecessors, and there were still mods for weapons in Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Also, most of them seem to be very medium range optimized, and there are not many weapons made for the sneaky kinda player. So i thought i would make a little list to just present my ideas, seeing as i have zero experience in modding and coding in general (do you even code when you make mods? i really don't know) oh, and before you mention that i might be missing some iconic weapons, there's phantomshotgun's topic: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3386605-weapons-we-want-in-fallout-4/ and this great mod already added some very good looking weapons: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11427/?feel free to list weapon mods you think people should check out! Also, many of these probably wouldn't be lore friendly, but hey, Macho Man Dragons in Skyrim amirite? so anyways, The List: Guns-The Webley Revolvers, an iconic British handgun and it would be interesting to upgrade it from mark I to Mark II and so on.-the Colt Single Action Army Revolver, the essence of the wild west-the Sako TRG M10, an awesome looking and pretty powerful sniper rifle-the classic sniper rifles from FO3 and NV-the more iconic weapons from FO3 and NV as standalone (legendary?) weapons-a long barrel mod for the 44, to give you that Dirty harry/ranger Sequioia feel-More Stocks and Barrels for all the weapons, maybe mostly cosmetic just so you can pimp your gear properly-the plasma caster!-a brush gun-grenade launchers( yes, iknow there are some, but one can never get enough) Blades and blunt weapons-a proper kukri, maybe as a blade for the machete or combat knife with a handle texture-a yataghan-a cutlass and/or falchion-more knives, stilletos, trench knives Etc. or maybe more combat knife blades instead, with their own uniqe buffs or something.-a gladius, maybe also a machete blade with a handle texture-throwing knifes/hatchets, maybe similar to how grenades are in the game-AXES!!!!-clubs-a whip ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)-the ballistic fist-BIG. SWORDS. nuff said armours-riot gears from NV, all the types (WHY HAS THIS NOT HAPPENED YET!?)-samurai armour-knight armour-revolutionary armours with modern attachments-minutemen officer armours-some NCR and Legion Armours-handheld Pip-Boys that' all i have for now, but i will probably update if i think of something really cool.looking forward to seeing more suggestions! flipdark95 Posted April 26, 2016 Share Posted April 26, 2016 I'm working on putting a classic version of the Plasma Caster into the game as well as a redesigned version for a quest mod involving a certain shadowy government group that were nearly destroyed on the West Coast and the East Coast. I'm also planning on doing some Legion and NCR armors, as well as new Minutemen ones for the Sons of Liberty mod which will also be available on their own. I just saw that you said "More" so my apologies if you knew of these already.Thank you! i didn't know about the thorwing stuff and the axe, they look super awesome! however, when i say NCR stuff i'm thinking more in the direction of regular soldier armours and officer attire etc, and there's still no Legion stuff. as much as i hate them, they have very good fashion and very cool weapons ;) Gotta say again, thank you so much for the links. these look really good!
