Nexus Site Bugged

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place , but I didn't notice any thread for bugs for the website .

Anyway , the issue is , whenever I google something , and arrive at the nexus page for the mod I googled (or one that caught my eye in google) , it seems to break the page . However , if I start by going to the nexus firast , then to the mod through the nexus site (vs google) it will work . It seems coming to a mod from an outside source breaks the pages , and it's quite annoying and an inconvenience . The main description page will appear , then when you click any other tab (like photos , files) it just shows a letter "E" . Even clicking back on the "Desc" tab , it shows "E" rather than the page it already showed but now isn't showing . Sorry lack of sleep hope that all made sense I'm posting apic of the issue now

 

edit: also prevent any more than the first three inital pictures from beingloaded .

 

P.S. sometimes google is easier/faster because the search engine nexus uses is kind of poor quality IMO , but still okay nonetheless . Seems to be a new issue btw

I'm very good at coding if you guys need help . I'm on this website often and notice minor bugs here and there , along with silly things like above (I can upload .jpg images , but i can't post the link with IMG tags here ? makes no sense) and I'd be happy to volunteer my time to help fix some things

it's not the nexus, it's your browsers setup, I link in from other sites with no problems, but I am loaded with protection from advertisers hitching rides.

I can suggest "Ghostery add on" to better Enhance your worldly affairs.

update your browser.

Thank Dante , I'll take your response over Purr4me . No offense , but an admin would most likely know what's going on more than anyone else . The browser thing is interesting though , I'll still give a look into that . However , if it is related to all the info in that link , Dante , then I just deal with it . Not too much of a problem , just really an annoyance and inconvenience .

My guess is the link from google is based on the old http and not the newer more secure https ( Note the 's' on the end) addressing that we just switched to. It will take a while for Google and the other search engines to get around to changing their links to all of the Nexus again. If you get that look at the address line and if you see the http, change it to an https and see if that works.

That's a good guess bben46 . I also noticed my adblock was on , I turned it off . I love the nexus , and ads help , so no sense in blocking them . I was wondering why those annoying audio ads suddenly stopped playing hahaha .

I think it was adblock , because it doesn't seem to do it anymore . So , problem solved , for now ? Who knows
