I tried a fresh clean version of Firefox portable and it works, with no problems. Once the error is fixed, just delete the FF portable from desktop, no need to uninstall, because it's portable ehm.

I've had this problem for like two days now, with the error message showing on chrome and firefox and whether I'm logged in or not. I have sometimes found a way around it, if you open the links (so a manual download) and they don't have an additional pop-up it will download, but if it has any sort of pop up, a "support the modder" or "requires these mods as well", I can't download it. This issue is driving me crazy!!

Same issue here. MS Edge is working fine but chrome says "An error happened". This happens for 3 days now. Before that everyhing was fine. No upgrade for chrome or NM before this issue happened. It became all of a sudden. Some tech guys from nexus should deal with this issue as %65 of the community uses chrome for net experience!!! This issue is nuts!!!

i have found a way around this

when you are at the page of a mod you want, go to "download manually" link and open it in new tab and it should download the file.

you can then drop it in NMM if you want to

I am having this issue also, I'd appreciate a Moderator or tech person to give this attention. ty

edit: So I opened Nexus with Microsoft edge, I prefer Chrome. But that did it for me. I was able to Download again.

Any moderator or developer reading this, please help us with this issue...We cannot use nexus mods!!!

I have found a solution that worked for me.

if you are using HTTPS Everywhere extension on google chrome, disable it and clear your cookies.

It should work then
