Arpaleggia Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 (edited) Following the steps to remove HTTPS Everywhere and clearing cookies, I am allowed to download a mod once with "Download with Manager" per browser. After that, I get the same "An error occured" message.Manual download gives the same error message, unless I copy and paste the direct download link to another tab, i.e. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/download/*Unfortunately, as said previously, if there is a subsequent donation or requirement page, the user is met with the error message again after clicking "Continue with my download". tommy61157 Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 I've had this issue too, using edge with no plugins is the only thing that works for me, I really hope they fix whatever is behind this issue....
notthesharpestknife Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Tahnk god i'm not the only one with this problem.+1Disabling https everywhere brings no solution to me.
bigfutus Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 I have found a solution that worked for me.if you are using HTTPS Everywhere extension on google chrome, disable it and clear your cookies. It should work thenThanks man, that helped. I re enabled HTTPS Everywhere afterwards and it still works. Edit: and its bugged again. Thats strange, i restarted Firefox several times and it worked. BTW Terms of Service are affected as well, not only downloads, so they really should fix this.
r131 Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 The hint for HTTPSeverywhere was a good one. :)I switched it of for nexus, logged out, cleaned all cookies, closed FF and started a new session .. working again.
Nasher1981 Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 Happening to me to, seems to be pretty random. Some days site works fine, others it does this. I've tried 3 different browsers and get the same error when trying to download.
