High-res Body textures showing as extremely distorted in bodyslide and game?

I can get the standard CBBE body textures to apply properly, but it's when I try upgrading the textures to Glorious Female or Ida CBBE textures that I get trouble. I installed a tattoo mesh to FO4\data\textures\actors\character\basehumanfemale which originally cause the problem. However, I have since deleted all known mod textures and reinstalled everything and the texture problem is still there?

Try reinstalling cbbe first and then the skin textures.

That was the first thing I tried (didn't work), followed by manually deleting the textures folder for my female and rebuilding the body with bodyslide (still didn't work). I'm beginning to think there is a glitch and there's nothing I can do.

This happens when you use a JB body and a non JB texture or a CBBE body and a default game texture, et.

If you use CBBE, you need textures designed for the mesh that CBBE created.

If you use the Jane Body, you need textures that work with the JB mesh they use.

The default Glorious female texture was designed for the default game mesh and doesn't map/fit to a CBBE or JB mesh unless it was one that specifically created to work with CBBE or JB. The default Glorious female texture was intended for the meshes that came with the game. You don't need CBBE to use the default Glorious female texture.

JB and CBBE both created their own meshes, that are not default game meshes and need textures that fit their meshes.

It is the Vanilla norm/spec map texture. ( MaleBody_n.DDS) And the grey texture( MaleBody_s.DDS ) Make a folder in that directory and name it BIN. Then put your V textures in that folder. So it will be close for experimentation .
