notkipli
I have a .nif of some furniture ready to go. I have FO4Editor. I followed some tutorials for weapon mods on YouTube. I looked for similar furniture under static and created a new .esp by rightclicking the old similar furniture and 'Copy as new record into...' to make my own .esp. I changed the location of the .nif to my new furniture in the FO4 data file. I've also attempted to add 'constructable object' to the .esp but I don't see what I need to change. I've looked at a few furniture mods while in FO4Editor but I'm mystified how they came up with all their slick .esp files. All the tutorials I can find are for clothing or weapon mods. I'd love to be directed to a tutorial for furniture or something constructable. >.< Google has been no help. Thanks from a complete noob.
RustyXXL
Elianora should have some tutorials about exactly that, as far as I know.
notkipli
I saw this tutorial but it doesn't cover converting the nif to esp. Edited April 27, 2016 by notkipli
EmissaryOfWind
Basically, you need a Static (STAT) that is your new furniture. From what you said, I think you have that covered. Then, you make a constructible object, it's easiest if you use the one that builds the furniture you used as reference, and under "created object", you enter the ID of your new furniture (the number that is next to your static in the list).
