I go to the website and try to update the geck through it but all I ever get is a missing file error then a message saying an old file was found. This is very aggravating. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Be sure to load it into the C/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Fallout New Vegas folder. But not in the data folder. I goofed up the first time I downloaded it:-)
