Game won't get passed loading screen

It's probably something i downloaded, i dunno. Whether I choose to "continue" or "load" a save file, I never get passed the loading screen. It doesnt matter what save I load, either. Sometimes the screen will load forever, or it will eventually freeze. It's been doing this a couple days now.

Uninstall the mods up to where it was stable and use the save file before those mods you have to uninstall.

Oh gosh, why didn't I think of that.

 

Unfortunately it's not working. It's my mistake I know, but NMM stopped launching for some reason or another, and I got a couple mods manually. One of them is really fricken big so i don't know all the files I need to remove for it.

 

-Left Hand Rings

-Multiple Floors Sandboxing

-Skyfall Estate (the really big one)

-My Home is Your Home (MHiYH 2plus)

 

I also got the Celestine healer. I believe i got her before the game stopped working, but I hadn't had a chance to interact with the follower yet.

 

With the exception of Skyfall Estate I've used these mods before without a hitch, but it's Skyfall estate that has a bajillion files.

New information: it has something to do with my main playthrough file. I started a new game on an argonian and she went through fine, then i saved and went back to one of the khajiit ones and it did the foreverload.

Try out a new game. If the problem is still there uninstall mods prior to where the problem wasn't, on a FRESH save(no missing mods, or new game)

 

O always advice against manual installation because of the problem you have now. ALso there uis a good chance that big mod replaced some vanilla stuff. (I hope you made a backup).

If you want to run a stable Skyrim it's posible with 255 mods, if you test thoroughly. There are very good youtube video;s out there. I personally like gopher, zaric zhakaron and dawnoffrost made a small video with general tips/tricks/hints

Redoing everything again sounds terrible. I've broken and had to restart so many playthroughs, I was hoping I'd be cautious enough this time around. I guess not. If possible I'd like to work to fix the problem.

Then remove the mods up to where there wasn't a problem. then carefull add mods until you find the culprit.

you can try to download the skyfall estate again, see what files you have to delete, but be carefull since some might have replaced vanilla files.

 

even so removing mods from a current play-trough just won't do. the scripts will be in that save file still.

Have you tried:

Ctrl+Alt+Delete

Task Manager

Click back to game

 

That should force the load screen through if it is just an infinite loading problem.

infinite loading screens won't appear if you have skse installed properly.

If not at least use startupeditor and safety load.
