Recommended sophisticated quest mods

If you're a little tired of all the fighting and looking for challenging quest mods where you actually have to use your brains and pay attention to detail, then I've got some suggestions for you.

 

The first one comes from a modder who calls himself Puce Moose. He has already done some nice work for Fallout 3 worth checking out:

For Fallout: New Vegas Puce Moose has published a mod consisting of two parts meaning two different stories. I personally believe the first one to be a masterpiece that almost made me cry because the ending is so sad. (Hopefully, I'm not spoiling anything.)

Beware, you simply cannot and should not rush through this one. And if you have any problems, be sure to check the discussion thread of the mod to look for hints of how to solve the problem you're facing.

Tales from the Burning Sands Chapter Two - The Botanist

Judging by the number of endorsements the following is even less known the Burning Sands although there are also two parts available. Donlemonade has come up with Identity Crisis, two mods that you also simply cannot rush through because you would miss the effort that guy has put in his mods.

The last two suggestion are not really quest mods but definitely recommended for people who like to explore

The second one is becoming more popular everyday and presents a creepy, X-Files-like atmosphere
