Ive seen genies in only a handful of mods, Morrowind's two genie mods where my favourites "Abandoned Genie" and the "Merchant Genie". It would involve the player finding a lamp on a dead Khajiit merchant. When going up to it, it will give you an options window, "Rub the Lamp" and"Carry the Lamp". If you carry it, it will be stored in your inventory, if you Rub it, a Khajit/Human npc would appear, who will offer you their services, 3 per day. The Genie would appear in desert like clothing, though its legs would be replaced with a smoky tail emanating from the lamp. The genie would act as either a merchant or an NPC. If the player talks with the genie and asks for them to follow them, the genie will form legs and follow the player, helping in combat and such. The genie is near immortal, if it gets to critical health, it will disappear into the lamp until the next day. As a merchant, you can ask the genie to conjure you items, such as swords, armor and new spell abilities. Though noting game breaking, the items should be in accordance to the players level. To return the genie to their lamp, you activate the lamp with the rub option, and they will return back into it until the next day. Quest rise, maybe you can get to learn about the genie past, maybe learning about how they got stuck in the job, maybe they need help. Maybe they might be evil and cause you to switch places with them.So thats my two cents. Anything you guys like add? Anything i should change?
