DaBethum
New Game + is in reference to a SNES game called Crono Trigger. The concept is you start the story over from the beginning, but keep your equipment and levels.Maybe it's doable via console commands or a bat, maybe it's doable but only if you ignore the main quest line missions.Either way, it would be nice to breath some new life into my lvl 110 and help curb the grind with missions and mission rewards. Thanks for your time.
pyroish123
And make it so it makes the game a lot harder every time you complete the main story like in borderlands
Fenryr3001
Not really possible.Only thing you could do is cheating back your equipment/levels on a new character.
DaBethum
The idea would be to keep your levels and items, and to reset the quests to their first stages or perhaps to unstarted. I know you could modify the setstage via console commands in New Vegas to get around some of the buggy quests. seekingthesun
No, it's not possible. The game engine can only sometimes reverse a few quests through extensive use of console commands. That mod would have to correctly reset every quest, every cell, every global value, etc. This is a rare case in that this could never happen. Maelstrom100
^ or you know you could just have the game start a new save file over from the start but have it scripted to give you all the items that you had and there attachments and the level your at (not likely the same perks sadly that seems a bit hard to script)
DaBethum
The logic in your post makes me sad seekingthesun. Oileme that's a great suggest, sounds a little bit like a character editor could do that. (Ala Borderlands)
seekingthesun
Yes, you could build a script but you'd have to manually list and add all the items one by one. There might be a way at some point to dump the inventory into a file, then have a command prompt compile it as a batch
