CTD via Pipboy in Custom Worldspace

I've been mapping out a custom world space complete with a heightmap and everything (I love how easy they made it to just chuck one in), and I spent literally 16~ hours today with few breaks, hand crafting my world space, and its turning out wonderful!

 

However I ran into a little annoyance when actually hopping ingame to check everything out for the first time..

 

Everything is running smoothly, until I pull up the Pipboy , crashing the game without warning or any sort of message..

 

I figured it's because I hadn't supplied a world map texture for the Pipboy to use, but even adding a quick and dirty placeholder image doesn't seem to make it not crash.

 

The worldspace itself is a quick and simple one, with all custom a-okay settings and no worldspace templates being used in any form - same way you'd make a worldspace in the FONV GECK and Skyrim CK

 

Only mod I have enabled is my own, along with Wasteland Workshop and Automatron, load order is fine

 

I realize this stuff is still beta and all, but you'd think such a big issue wouldn't exist/would've been discovered by Bethesda when developing Fallout 4
