Hi there,

I am trying to replicate the graphics of Brodual (video with an explanation about their mod list here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkDZE3b0XuM )

I'm doing everything that should be done. I edit the ini files as described in the Project ENB page, install Climates of Tamriel, Enhanced Lights and FX, set the game brightness to minimum and use the Realistic/Option E (extreme performance) of the ENB.

Indoors everything is beautiful but outside... ah, my eyes. The shadows are pixelated (they are set to Ultra and indoors they are as they should) and the bloom and brightness are melting my eyes. Just look at this screenshot

Here are screenshots of my mods and plugins:

1. Screenshot 1- http://i.imgur.com/KlC9gRt.jpg

2. Screenshot 2 - http://i.imgur.com/ScmXSww.jpg

What could be possibly wrong? Any help will be greatly appreciated as I just love how this ENB looks.

Open your SkyrimPrefs.ini file located in your "My Documents" folder and make sure these lines are set

bFloatPointRenderTarget=1
bDrawLandShadows=1
bTreesReceiveShadows=1
iBlurDeferredShadowMask=5 (use this setting if you have your shadows set to "Ultra" in the SkyrimLauncher)

I can see some things that you don't have but should have. Wheel of lull update for example.

Also with open city's come a lot of troubles, be sure to have all the right patches for it.

If you use a lighting overhaul or weather overhaul also be sure the ini's from your enb and those mods arnt corrupting each other.

For example if you have climates of tamriel you have to set in your enb

(rain)

effect=0

Elfx/ climates/ and the enb might aswell be the issue using those together.

The best looking Enb is true vision together with elfx and climates of tamriel in my opinion.

It's not comic style colorful, but feels warm and is excelent with climates, elfx and lanterns of skyrim.

Hey, thank you for answering and for the Wheel of Lull and ENB advice, I will make sure to look at them!

I have made the SkyrimPrefs.ini changes. Here is the content of the two ini files - https://gist.github.com/pe6o/3ba59d04d7fcdec208574d121e615c65

This time I removed all installed mods ( http://imgur.com/a/yJce4 ), installed CoT v3 (the Project ENB description tells that it's for v3?), ran LOOT, WryeBash, Brightness is 0, AA is Off and it's still like that :sad:

Here are some more screenshots ( Realistic/Option E (extreme performance ) - http://imgur.com/a/mwdj0

About the shadows: it looks like a LOD switching shadow issue. It is caused by increasing field of view or Shadow distance. There is related video about that:

Unfortunately the only way to eliminate this problem is reduce field of view or shadow distance to 3000 or 2600.
