StarlightVP
Getting a frustrating problem that when i load the game up i get a CTD before even getting to the main menu my load order is properly setup and i have not had this issue before the survival update sometimes i won't get a CTD sometimes required me to launch the game multiple times before it works. I have reinstalled my game thinking it would work but it didn't..
Fatalmasterpiece
Delete any interface mods and any loose files installed by interface mods as well as the interface folder found in your fallout 4 data folder.
Wenderer
I have CTD on load too, deleting all interface mods didn't helped. Made steam cache verification, didn't helped.
Sertith
This is happening to me as well, and deleting interface mods didn't do a thing.
Fingerthecat
Same, before I uninstalled my interface mods I was able to CTD on game load. After I CTD on startup. Disabled all plugins, still CTD on startup
Wenderer
Kinda solved problem. Along with deleting interface mods and folder, and with cache verification, i disabled all plugins and game loaded last save, of course there was a lot of missing objects. Then i started enabling plugins by several at once, and found one that caused CTD. It's a 'The AK-2047 Standalone Assault Rifle'. Without it game loaded fine, for now. So if someone still has issue with loading do the same, uncheck all plugins and try to load game, if it loaded normal then try to detect which plugin incompatible with 1.5 version. Disabling a plugin is often not the same as deleting it. The reason you're CTDing at load is because you installed a mod which is not compatible with 1.5. Even if you uninstall the game and verify your cache, there are still loose files left in your Fallout4 folder which do not often get removed by "uninstall". Try deleting all the loose files installed by Def_UI, there are a LOT of them. 133 to be exact. If you're not sure which files they are, manually download the mod and look at the files it contains, then make sure none of those are in your game folder. If you can't figure out which files you installed that are causing the issue then you will have to delete your Fallout4 folder. After "uninstalling" the game you should completely delete your Fallout4 folder since there will most likely still be files left there which are not vanilla. Then reinstall.
