ChocomintCA
While roaming around the wasteland at night, it doesn't really appear to be dark. The sky is dark, but I can see quite well, and I have Darker Nights (from Electro City) on. From what I remember Darker Nights made it quite dark, which I like. But whenever I go into an 'interior area', like Camp McCarran (however it's spelled), it is dark. The lighting only seems to work in areas like those, not out in the open world areas. The Weather effects only happen 'indoors' as well. Places like the Camp and Westside only get dark nights and rain etc., while the open wasteland remains mostly vanilla-ish during the night. I also have Realisitc Interior Lighting running as well. Could that be it? Or some load order problem. Should I re-install or something? It's not really a big problem, just kind of annoying. Also sorry if this is in the wrong spot/stupid etc.
Gribbleshnibit8
Most likely culprit is a mod that's editing the Wasteland worldspace that's loading lower. Any mod that adds ANYTHING to the exterior worldspace will also include the default weather effects (and potentially override them). So checking to ensure that's not the case is pretty easy. If you have FNVEdit, then launch it, leave your entire mod list checked, and let it load. Once it's done, expand the FalloutNV.esm file, scroll down to Worldspace, and look for WastelandNV (or do a FormID search for 000DA726). You don't have to expand it, just click on it and look at it in the View tab. Whatever mod is the farthest to the right is the one that wins. Check and see if it's using the default values. MyGoodEye
Heya... You should go to the NEVADA SKIES page and nab NEVADA SKIES UWRLified and the NIGHT DARKENER. http://newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35998 The one I included in ECITY will work with NSKIES-URWLifed (it's mostly for people who are using Vanilla or Fellout at this point), but you get better control with the NIGHT DARKENER. Also remember to keep NSKIES pretty close to the bottom of your load order so other mods don't overwrite the custom CLIMATE setting. The reason ECITY-DARKERNIGHTS doesn't work so well with NSKIES ORIGINAL is because the author created his own WEATHER settings and I long ago 'tabled' the NSKIES compatibility patch for DARKER NIGHTS because it just added to the confusion once UWRLIFIED was released. You can get my old patch from the LUMENARIUM package if you really want it. Enjoy! MyGoodEye (MGE)David
ChocomintCA
Sorry for the late response, I always do this whenever I start a topic. -.- It is using default values. I'll try what MGE said though first. Thanks.
