oompa123
So I have the Steam GOTY version, and I downloaded all the files for Project Beauty HD. I moved the ESM file, the textures folder, and the mesh folder all into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout 3 goty\Data". I also downloaded the Archive Invalidation exe and activated that. Now when I launch the game, I'm able to check off the Project Beauty mod. However, the NPCs still appear to be the same as before. Anything I'm missing here?
Daniboy41
This mod will conflict with almost any mod that edits NPCs.If you try to use PB along with another mod that edits NPCs, you will either miss PB's faces or the other mod's changes.Because PB is cosmetic and doesn't impact gameplay, it is suggested that you put the plugins relatively high in your load order. This is so that in the event of a conflict, PB will be overridden and won't interfere with any gameplay affecting mods. The best solution is using Garybash to create a bashed patch. The "Import Faces" function will solve all of mod conflicts with PB. Use the "Races" function as well for the HD version. There are patches available which allow players to use PB flawlessly with other mods:MMM RC5 - Patch included in PB downloadFWE MR5 - Patch available from the Fallout Interoperability ProgramFOOK2 1.1 Open Beta 2 - Patch is available in the "Optional" section of the Files tab. oompa123
Thanks, I'll check out Garybash. I probably should have mentioned that I'm not running any other face or NPC-altering mods, though. I'm also attempting to do this on a vanilla version for the time being (so the only files I have checked off are the Fallout 3 and PB ESMs). Would Garybash help anyway? I would try reinstall, it seems like you missed the folders to overwrite, textures etc.
