jjb54
thanks jjb , so as ive reinstalled 4 i should be able to d/l nmm again and just d/l the mods ,being a little shy of mods now as i played for over 420 hours from the day i payed for it * I obviously cannot make any promises. What I can tell you is this: NMM works just fine, but please note the small challenge that I had. I had to disable all my mods (not the same as delete: DO NOT DELETE THEM! ) I had disable / reenable them a 'few' times (3) for a couple of them, for them to all be seen. I also strongly recommend that you get FALLOUT 4 Script Extender: http://f4se.silverlock.org/ It's easy to install just follow the instruction text. Forget about all the x.cpp files. Those are only if you create mods using the program. Then I suggest you get this patch: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12465/? This gets rid of the [M] before the save. Bethesda letting us know the save has mods in it. :P and you can continue the game with NO Mod Block Achievement protocol. Hope this helps ... ... Jj ... bben46
Answer to: Mods being disabled every time - or asterisks being removed. Same thing. You need to set your plugins.txt file to read only AFTER activating all of your mods, (Activating the mods in NMM puts in the asterisks for you) To find the plugins.txt C:\users\Your user name\Appdata\Local\Fallout4\ Right click,on plugins.txt, left click on Properties and put a check in the box that says read only then click apply and then OK
