GothikaGeist
So I've found yet another issue that has kept me from playing the game.It seems that my Player-Character is HORRIBLY discolored while I'm in any exterior cells (roaming the wasteland).I'll Upload some files that'll show just how severe it is. Do you guys have any ideas or suggestions on what to do/how to alleviate/ or fix this?
nivea
Yeah thats how it is in RL too, thus make up was born. Really thats how it is with most characters, they look their best inside in soft lighting, outside is harsh light with a bad angle depending on the sun. Best lighting is normally 6am and 7pm in my game anything else and its burning bright and harsh.I find this mod can really help, I use the tight and bright setting along with Fellout. http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37908

Explain that a bit for me will you?Oh and I just had an idea, what if we used one of the "Special FX" mods like MGE's "Imaginator"?
GothikaGeist
I saw what you meant by the "Tight and Bright" setting, it was in The Imaginator, not Electro City. Although the ESP is called ElectroCity-Imaginator.esp
nivea
Doh sorry about that, I put up the wrong link because of the name rofl. Really NV and FO3 seem to have really harsh lighting, so best you can do is work on your face sliders and try the imaginator and try other weather mods. GothikaGeist
Yeah, just fixed it up as best as I can. Thanks for the information! Luckily Skyrim won't use Gamebryo, so hopefully neither will Fallout 4.
GothikaGeist
I believe I "fixed" this issue. I just did a clean re-install and deleted fellout (BEFORE re-install),and the sun's soft light makes the characters look FAR better. It might also be caused by Nevada Skies. I'll test some more. nivea
I bet its the Nevada skies mod, I really do not like its lighting at all it makes my characters look like crap and provides no glare/shine.
GothikaGeist
Yep that's probably it then. That and its URLW-whatever counterpart. Also, I found out that WMX has some buggy animations in it that caused the "fast-forwarding" animations. (ALL animations were REALLY fast and buggy/stuttery) EDIT: The "fast-forward" animations were purposefully caused by NV Game Stabilizer A8, sorry ccmechanic2. By the way, I'm going to test if removing all of Nevada Skies "Weather Settings" (NOT rain/snow/storms) will leave the default soft lights from the sun.
