So certain mods require you to change the ini settings for fallout 4. After updating my NMM and fallout to 1.5 my game kept crashing. i tried everything. disable AV, refresh steam cache, validate files, unloaded all my mods so i was running vanilla, but none of those worked. When i deleted my ini files to reset them the game worked magically fix right? no when i enabled all my mods again none of them worked (yes i enabled the mods in the in game mods thing too) when i changed the ini settings to what the mods specify is when the game started to crash after loading screens again. now i cant play with mods and cant load the game if i want to play with mods. I just don't know what to do. Any ideas on how to get the mods to work?

Do you have an Interface folder in your Data folder? Delete it, or any mods that add files in it. I had the same problem. Full Dialogue Interface and DEF UI both have files in there that'll crash your game, unless you get the patches for 1.5, I don't know about any of the other mods that affect the Interface folder.

I was having the same problem. The DEF-UI 1.5 patch fixed it for me. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10654/? Under files.

My ini.files were changed during the course of trying to troubleshoot my CTD's initially and I played around with them eventually putting back the way I had them. They seemed to have no effect on the problem.
