Trying to make a dual wield mod for both handguns and melee

Hi community

 

As the title says I am trying to make it possible to hold a gun or knife in both hands.

 

I'm not sure where to start, I've never attempted this kind of mod before. I've got slotting weapons to each had I think figured out, then I need to change the actions when the tag for two weapons is flagged. Any ideas about how to go about this?

 

I would love some thoughts form the pros on here.

You'd also need to duplicate the model it uses, I'd say. I'm trying to replicate the dual miniguns that was shown in the Creation Kit's trailer, so I duplicated the minigun model and pointed the dual minigun weapon record in the CK to that model. So theoretically that should be all that I need to do.

Interesting, My aim to to allow each hand slot to equip a different weapon, ala skyrim, and fire each independently.
