NVSE error, won't start game

Recommended Posts

You are using a newer version of Fallout than this version of NVSE supports. If there patch to this version just came out, please be patient while we update our code. In the meantime, please check http://nvse.silverlock.org to make sure you're using the latest version of NVSE. (version=000100040000020D 010000A0)

I attached a screen shot of the same thing. It said the same thing on the 1.8 version. WHen the 1.9 version came out, no change once installed. Is this new patch hosing anyone else?

Any idea how to correct this?

The game hasn't work since the 5th of July.

NVSE was updated maybe 5 hours maybe sooner after the last patch a few days back, maybe you need to refresh ( cntrl+f5) the page to get the latest but here is the direct link: http://nvse.silverlock.org/beta/nvse_2_beta9.zip

Hmm strange, maybe your update messed up somehow, only other thing would suggest is to verify your install of NV: In library, right click the NV icon and then properties, then local files and verify local cache.

So if I can't validate my cache file on Steam, what's the next step the fix it?

Contact Steam for technical support about this issue.

Or you can try a fix ive read about but never tried. Find your Steam folder and right click it. Choose "Properties" and uncheck the read only attribute and apply it to all sub folders and files.

You can also try deleting your ClientRegistry.blob file in the Steam folder root. I wouldnt try this second option unless your desperate because Im not sure what this accomplishes. Wish I had some links for ya.

edit: Move ClientRegistry.blob to your desktop instead of delete. If this doesnt help move it back you should be a-okay
