Rapier422
I'm sure a few of you have seen my posts before Unfortunately the solution to my problem continues to elude me. I am trying to have it so that hair can be seen with AthenaX's sylvanas mod. She just isn't the Banshee Queen without her flowing silver locks. I have tried EVERYTHING from retexing current helms, to messing around with Creation Kit and even tried a shot at learning how to create my own with using Nifscope and what not. All attempts were unsuccessful. Therefore, I am begging, please if any1 has discovered a way to solve this problem please, PLEASE let me know. Its slowly driving me insane that I can't figure this out. I'm using the CBBE body right now if that helps any. Again, I'm begging you, please help me out here. Ive been at this for nearly 6 months now. :wallbash: Edited April 30, 2016 by Rapier422
AraFox
Let me start by saying that I'm so sorry you're having this frustrating issue and that I wish I had the answer for you. I know it may be doubly frustrating that I'm posting even though I don't have any suggestions and really, nothing to add to this thread... I just wanted to say that I love the Princess Leia reference in the title. That's all. I know! I know! Not helpful. Sorry! And also, good luck on the hair thing. NexusComa
I've tried to help you in the past. Suggested a few hood mods with hair. "I have tried EVERYTHING from retexing current helms, to messing around with Creation Kit and even tried a shot at learning how to create my own with using Nifscope and what not. " If you have tried all that then maybe you will understand this ... if you can edit (from the creation kit) one of them hair wigs to not be set to the helm/head slot (there are xtras slots on the bottom) you would be able to use it under any helm/cloak/ or even current hair ... You may need to adjust placement in Nifscope but probably not. OR ... you need to find a wig that will do that from some other mod.Demon Hunter Armor <-- This is a link click it.I have suggested this armor to you before as it has a wig with it that is standalone. (even in a few colors)Also: The armor set is just as good as the set you now use. So it's not like your getting a bad armor set for a wig.
Rapier422
I really do appreciate all the suggestions you've given me NexusComa, however either the suggestion didn't work or the wig style just did not look right. In Creation Kit when I look at the Sylvanas Wig (Sylvanas_wig_2) it shows that the form ID is HDPT. Is there a way to make this an equippable armor or is that all done with Nifscope and what not. NexusComa
How about this ... in Nifscope, load up that cape from your armor set 0 and 1 and right click on the hood then branch remove it.... then you can keep the cape and still see the hair. Once again if you download the set i keep pointing you at it has a hair wig stand alone. if you don't like the way it looks Nifscope one in you do like. That is an equitable armor ... Also: have you tried to contact the author of your mod and ask
KnightRangersGuild
No no silly wabbits, that's not how. Well I'm no Obi Wan but all you have to do is load it up in nifskope and under BSDismemberSkinInstance and change "Head" to and change it to "Circlet" and then you must click on "Circlet" in Creation Kit to and thats it bro. NexusComa
there you go, just change the cape like Knight said. (love it when someone thinks outside the box like that)
