Looking for an ENB.

Good day all,

 

I am looking for an ENB that does not drastically change the look of the game but just improves it. Vanilla is nice, but it is too saturated and unrealistic. I want an ENB that is more realistic/immersive. The ENB that I am looking for would still be true the vanilla look. However, it will be less saturated and night time would actually be night. I hate running around at midnight and it looks like the sun just went down. I would like it to be truly dark out so I have use mods to provide gear to help be see in the dark.

 

BTW, check out this mod for some nice night gear.

I know some will think I am an elitist prick, but I got an EVGA GTX 980. I would like to be able to run a solid 60 frames in and outside. I am willing to run a few frames below 60, but no less than 50.

 

I have used a few already and they are nice. However, there is usually a really glaring issue.

 

Vouge ENB ~ Very nice ENB. Has the most endorsements on the Nexus under the ENB category. It actually improved my framerate. However, It has not been updated since January and the author has not posted a post since Feb 22nd. The day look is great. However, night time is pretty bright, it just has increase shadows. It is kinda of fake darkness.

 

Subtle ENB ~ I just installed it last night. Looks pretty good, I have not gotten a really good look at night time yet. Interiors run a solid 60 frames. However, outside in the world, I drop all the way down to 40-37 frames. Way too choppy for me.

 

Clear Light Preset ~ During the day time, this ENB is AMAZING!!! The YouTuber Hoditon, who does the Skyrim and Fallout 4 landscape and texture videos, uses this preset along with the Grasslands mod by Doodlezoid. However, the night time look is much to be desired. It is almost as bright as daytime. The author says fixing the night look is on his list but until that is fixed, I will not use it.

 

I know that this has been a long post, and I appreciate anyone who is still around reading this wall. But please let me know what ENBs you are using and which ones you would recommend. Thank you and be well.

The best ENB I feel, by far. Is Cinematic Excellence ENB by Archalyus. I've tried many and theres just nothing on that level.

 

Its the ENB I promote with both the Ultimate Fallout 4 Mod Compilation and the Ultimate Fallout 4 Mod Compilation Neon Wasteland Edition. The installation directions are at the bottom of the mod description.

 

I would highly suggest the Natural Version. The Cinematic version is SUPER dark.
