Has anyone here played redfaction or delta force

I just wanted to know if anyone on here plays Redfaction or deltaForce. SO post here if you do and tell me what you think of the two games.

 

 

Oh yeah i play both and i suck ass at redfaction but i kick it in Delta Force. Right now i don't play either im waiting for Deltaforce special ops.

I played Delta force a pretty long time ago and I thought it was too hard so I stopped. I like red faction alot more, though. Seeing as it was released back when the ps2 just came out there is alot of freedom within the game. If you haven't played Red faction 2, I wouldn't recommend it. Nothing was really improved except the graphics and it is VERY short.

I found it to be a somewhat average game, about the only good thing about it is the geo-mod technology that allows you to blow holes through walls and stuff !!!!!

 

I would love to see the geo-mod technology in RPG's...can't find a key just destroy the wall next to the door !!! :lol:

I've played Delta Force 1, and Delta Force 2.... They are pretty good games.. I just hate the fact that if you play online, everyone has been playing for such a long time... that I dont know what the hell is going on!! lol...its brutal..

 

Single Player missions are pretty good though,... I give this game a thumbs up lol

You said the only good thing was the geo mod so i guess you had it for PS2 the truth is the pc version is awesome because you can compete online. I loved it.

yeah deltaforce is hard online but i got damn good at it the first week i was getting scores in the 80s my highest score was probably 200 some. And redfaction 2 was alot better it had great new weopons and better graphics and it had an ok story but the down side was no online :ranting: . That pissed me off.

if you need any tips for online play just ask me i was good at that game but i cant play because i have an error on my game so i can't get the update that you need to play online now. which is another thing that pisses me off.

Vamp its the PC version i have.... I dont play games online, mainly because theres no satisfaction in beating someone when when you cant gloat to thier face... Also i cant be bothered with all the cheaters and h@x0r kiddies !!!!

You can get past the modders by updating to version 1.3 it takes out mods people can't join your server as modders. Most clans use 1.3 because of that. And satisfaction i don't really care i beat them and then they have years of emotional scarring. Not in redfaction though as ive said i suck at it im better at delta force i actually was one of the best(unless i had been drinking before i played because then....well let me just say it wasn't pretty...funny...but not pretty. But you should really play it online its a much better game that way just update it you'll have to find a site that has the update. Don't ask me where because most of the sites i knew are gone now. I have played Delta Force: Black Hawk Down. The single player missions were a lot of fun and very challenging. The multiplayer is even better.

 

There are lots of places to have long range and close quarters combat. You can get on a Black Hawk and fire a minigun from there (you can't pilot it), or get on a HMMWV while it travels on a pre-set path and fire its .50 cal. roof-mounted machine gun. Also the custom built maps made by other players tend to be very good.

 

The only bad thing (unless you are the type of player about to be mentioned) is that camping, :ranting: , :angry2: , :ranting: , snipers have a serious advantage over other players, due to the gigantic wilderness surrounding the main combat area, whether it is a town or a military base. Some arenas have walls or fences preventing people from venturing out into the wilderness, in these arenas being a sniper for more than 2 minutes means a quick death.

 

I really don't care much about the sniper advantage most arenas have. I truly love just sitting there far away for the action waiting for a target to line up in my sights, getting only 5 kills in a 20 minute game, but dying 0 times. In other words I am a camping, :ranting: , :angry2: , :ranting: , sniper myself.

Ok about the sniper thing. Im a gunslinger so all out gunning. Those :ranting: :angry2: :ranting: snipers can kiss my ass i can frag everyone with the Saw its acurate as hell and fires faster then a sniper and snipers think they are hiding when they are just on the other side of the top of a mountain or hill and i see there little black dot looking body and frag them. Now once you kill them once or twice they get a little parinoid and start looking out for you but i still don't see them as a problem. And close quarters is the best because you can just mow people down. Man just talking about this makes me wanna play :( . too bad my game isn't working.

 

also in spec ops youll be able to pilot helocopters i think. well its what ive heard and its from a good source. My squad leader. but any way i plan to get black hawk and spec ops.
