Pip-Boy Armour / weapon selection not responding correctly?

Hi, Following the official Survival update i finally decided to dive in hear having waited since release.

 

All seems fine except the Pip-boy (PB) is not functioning correctly....i have only a few mods installed as follows:

 

True Storms

Darker nights

Campsite

Better blood

Crossbows of the commonwealth

Survival mode console

 

None i would have thought would cause the issue here. And otherwise the game is great.

 

The problem comes when i try to select either weapons or armour, the square icon responds next to the chosen weapon or Armour no probs but on exiting the PB nothing has happened? in the case of Armour selecting another outfit leaves me naked, sometimes when selecting say the raider outfit i have, the Vault suit comes on me (i only have the two sets of armour), it seems to take alot of messing back and forth before i finally end up with my chosen armour on?

 

The same happens with weapons, i select X rifile, exit the PB and i have bare hands?, the only way i can select a weapon is by favouring it, trhen selecting it via the fav app!

 

Any thoughts on the culprit here?

OK i sorted this one out myself, its because (for some strange reason), i've allocated my mouse wheel button as the pip-boy button, it works fine but if i have it over an item in PB when i press to close it, it also activates the item or in case of clothing removes it again..odd how the pip-boy button is also acting as the left click select button. but hey the FO4 controls are simply the worst in any game from the dawn of gaming...!
