Any way to make Serana behave normally?

I love Serana. As a follower, not as a sexual fantasy. I love her character, how she stood up to you when confronting her own mother. Her AI is a little annoying, though. I just really hate how she goes and interacts with about every object she can find, when I am talking to someone she will walk in my face and push me away from the person I was talking to. Is there any mod that makes her AI perform like a normal follower, like Lydia, for example? If not, is there a way to even do it? Dialogue and stats should stay the same, I just hate how she does all these things constantly.

Serana has a unique AI package that prompts her to interact with seemingly any an all "markers" around her, plus her "idle" is her walking around in circles. I'm not sure whether changing her AI package to one of the default follower ones would "break" her character or not, as she is fairly heavily scripted into the game for a number of quests, and they may be part of her AI package. I guess you could change it to test it out.

One thing about certain "quest" NPC"s is they get generated at specific times during your playthrough - For example I believe Lydia is "created" as soon as you enter Dragons Reach for the first time - even though there are a number of things you need to do before she is assigned to you - so you cannot make "on the fly" changes to her or most other "Quest" NPC's like Lydia, and like Serana,. You would have to start a new game, or load a save from before there "generation" point in game, in order for any changes to take effect, and I have no idea when in the story arc Serana is generated. Maybe the first time you enter the "Valley" of the Dawnguard, as that's essentially when you're given the quest which "discovers" her.

It doesn't fix all of her annoying behaviors, but using the following console command will prevent her "sandbox" package from triggering every time you stand still.

setpqv dlc1npcmonitoringplayer settleradius 0

The default value for settleradius is 150 if you change your mind and want to restore her original behavior.
