umaros Posted May 3, 2016 Share Posted May 3, 2016 I just installed FO4 on a new computer. I can play the vanilla game without problems, but when I open the NMM for FO4, I get an error saying "You have no FALLOUT 4 INI file." I have made the adjustments necessary to the Fallout custom ini and the prefs ini as well. Any suggestions? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

pst007x Posted July 22, 2017 Share Posted July 22, 2017 NMM is broken, however due to EOL is no longer going to be fixed. I think it is best to manually install from now on due to this. There doesn't appear to be a fix, perhaps there is an issue with Win10 running Fallout4 from steam and NMM. It does work fine on Win7. For some reason, though the ini files are in the correct locations, NMM does not detect them, I am not a dev so fixing is not possible.
