tastatura
Ever since I've got the Luggage, which is a part of COBL (the luggage is a sentient container that follows you around), I get the message ''too many followers!''... I would like to remove the connection between the luggage and my character without deactivating cobl, because I have other COBL stuff that I don't want to lose on my character. How can that be done? David Brasher
Cobl is a complex thing used in a number of ways. There is a big pool of meshes and textures, and a whole bunch of .esps laden with scripting and tweaks. If you are carrying around items merely referring to Cobl meshes and textures, it is safe to deactivate all the Cobl .esps and esm. and you will still have all your custom items. If you are carrying around items with Cobl form IDs, then you will need to keep active the particular .esps which they reside in, and also the esm, but can deactivate all the others. Just be sure not to remove the Cobl meshes and textures. I am not an avid user of COBL and usually keep most of it turned off. I do not know which .esp the luggage resides in because I do not think I use that .esp. It may be that the only Cobl file you need is Cobl Main.esm and you can deactivate everything else. You can read the various Cobl readme files, and one of them will probably talk about luggage. When you find it, you can deactivate just that one Cobl mod. Alternately, you could deactivate the Cobl mods one by one until the luggage goes away to figure out which mod needs to stay deactivated. An alternate approach would be to go into the CS and delete or otherwise disable the luggage. You would want to keep a backup of unedited Cobl in case something goes wrong. tastatura
Thank you for the info. I have managed to disable the luggage using the ingame Cobl options menu. Didn't even see that thing in my inventory cause I've got too much stuff, heh. But figured it out after reading the readme file.
